Chocolate Donuts with Peppermint Glaze

Chocolate Donuts with Peppermint Glaze sound like the perfect winter dessert. I love to sit back with these on Christmas Eve sitting by the fireplace. Yum!
I love holiday baking and getting creative in the kitchen.  Sometimes my best recipes use tried and true flavour combinations such as with these Chocolate Donuts with Peppermint Glaze.  It reminds me of my favourite Tim Hortons winter treat… Peppermint Tea steeped in Hot Chocolate. Mmm.  You won’t find that one on the menu but it sure beats the chocolate and peppermint combo that is!  Try it now and thank me later but in the meantime, you need to whip up a batch of these babies!

  1. Hi Elizabeth (Liz),

I am interested in trying this recipe and have never made donuts before…nor do I bake enough to figure out recipe size vs. quantity. Could you tell me how many standard size donuts this recipe makes? Thanks in advance and thank you for the inspiration.
