Baked Cookies and Cream Donuts
  • For the donuts:
  • 1 Cup all- purpose flour
  • ½ Cup brown sugar
  • ½ Tsp salt
  • ¼ Cup cocoa powder
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • ½ Tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1½ Tbsps butter, melted
  • ¼ Cup milk
  • ¼ Cup cream
  • For the topping:
  • 1 Tbsp soft butter
  • ¼ Cup milk
  • ¼ Cup cream
  • ½ Cup confectioner’s sugar
  • ½ Cup melted milk chocolate
  • 1 Cup crushed chocolate cookies with cream filling
  1. For the donuts
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Grease a donut pan with butter or light spray of choice.
  4. Whisk all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  5. In a separate bowl whisk together all the wet ingredients and slowly pour them into the dry ones. Mix until well combined.
  6. Use a large spoon and transfer mixture into a donut pan.
  7. Bake for 11 minutes.
  8. Let donuts cool for a few minutes then transfer them to another flat dish of choice.
  9. For the frosting combine the butter, milk, and cream and mix with a hand blender on medium speed until smooth.
  10. Reduce speed and add in the confectioners’ sugar then the melted chocolate.
  11. Once all is combined beat on high speed for 1 minute.
  12. Spread the frosting on top of the donuts with a spoon.
  13. Garnish with crushed cookies on top.
  14. Serve and enjoy.
