I love this idea! I can definitely see making this for a summer party, and maybe adding a chocolate dipped marshmallow too :)
I’m totally on board with the marshmallow thing (first thing I thought when I saw these)!
Great idea with the marshmallow💖
Have you ever made these ahead? Do the bananas brown? I really want to do these for a luncheon on Saturday but don’t have time right then —
Thanks!
Love this idea!!!
What are you putting the fruit on?
Popsicle sticks – but skewers work too.
Do you put something on the bananas to keep them from turning brown? Need to make in advance and was wondering how long they will stay fresh.
Lemon juice!
Will the bananas turn brown? Or no, because they’re going in the freezer.. Thanks!
Lemon juice!
The juice from canned pineapples works as well. Since you are already using pineapples, it’ll keep from having a lemony flavor if you want to avoid that.
Does the banana taste like lemon when you put juice on them?
Do you know the calorie count on these?
What is the fruit sitting on that’s dipped in chocolate? Looking at the picture, I see the pineapple, banana and strawberry on stick that’s not dipped in chocolate sitting on something that is dipped in chocolate and peanuts.
More details please..
Thank you
Ok, I see
Thank you
Just wanted to leave the comment for anyone who asks, I approximated these at 62 calories per skewer. I didn’t find any information on it, so I wanted to leave this here.
Made these with my 6 year old granddaughter as an after school snack, fun and easy!
We also did some apple wedges, they turned out great as well, used Apple juice to keep them from browning.
I made these for the kids and it was a big hit! So yummy and refreshing!
Perfect quick appetizer. My kid will love this for sure. Thanks for sharing such cute ideas.
Could these be keto or low carb friendly?
No, bananas are too high in sugar for this to be Keto friendly unless you really limited your servings and used sugar-free chocolate.
