Come summer there is nothing I crave more than fresh fruit and vegetables. There is nothing more refreshing though than a tall, cool glass of homemade juice made from fruits and vegetables. It’s so easy to make and the flavour is always just so rewarding. I made this with a blender but you could do the same with a juicer if you have one.

Carrot, Tangelo & Ginger Juice
Ingredients:
3 peeled carrots
2 peeled tangelos
2 Tbsp of grated ginger
1/2 cup water
Honey to taste
Directions:
Add the peeled and chopped carrots, the tangelos, ginger, water (and honey if you wish) in a high powered blender such as a Vitamix or Blendtec. Blend everything well for a couple of mins.
Strain the juice in a fine mesh strainer to eliminate any thick pulp.
Best served cold!
