- Quick and easy to make
- Incredibly tender and moist
- Fantastic lightly spiced flavour

How to Store Cake Bars
The bars can be covered and stored for up to 4 days in the fridge.
You can also freeze portions or the whole bar for up to 2 months then allow it to defrost and come back to room temperature overnight when ready to enjoy. If you want to freeze, the best method is to tightly wrap the cake or portions in plastic wrap, then the whole thing over again with aluminum foil.
About the Ingredients for Cinnamon Spice Cake Bars
Cake mix – You will want to use spice cake mix. You could also use yellow cake mix and then add 1 Tbsp of pumpkin spice and proceed as directed.
Eggs – We use an extra egg from what most box mix instructions call for. Make sure the egg is room temperature for best results.
Butter – Unsalted butter will give the best results, but salted butter is just fine if that is what you have on hand.
Powdered Sugar – Icing sugar or confectioners sugar.
Cream cheese – Full fat will give the best flavour, make sure it is room temperature!
Cinnamon – Ground cinnamon to flavour the frosting.
