How to Store Leftover Cinnamon Rolls

If you happen to make more than you eat, good news! Cinnamon rolls store pretty well.

Cinnamon rolls stay good at room-temperature for up to 5 days, and in the freezer for up to 2 months. Store completely cooled off cinnamon rolls in an airtight container or wrap them tightly with plastic wrap. If you freeze them, go the extra step up and place them in a freezer bag.

If frozen, thaw at room temperature for a couple hours. You can reheat in the microwave using short bursts until just warmed through.

Make-Ahead Directions

The cinnamon roll bunnies can be assembled the night before baking.

Skip pre-heating your oven until just prior to baking them in the morning. Place the bunnies on your prepared baking sheet and cover tightly with foil or plastic wrap, and place them in the fridge, along with the icing (separately).

When ready, bake as directed, decorate, and serve.

About the Ingredients for Cinnamon Roll Bunnies

Cinnamon Rolls – I would really recommend using grands instead of the regular cinnamon rolls for making these bunnies. You willl also be using the icing from the package.

Candy Eyes – If you don’t want to use candy eyes then try chocolate chips or even raisins.

Chocolate Eggs – We used mini eggs, but pink jelly beans or even pink m&m’s would be cute.
