Tips for Making the BEST Easter Charcuterie Board
- Prepare some of the ingredients in advance, such as washing vegetables and fresh fruit, as well as cutting any hard cheeses.
- Don’t stress out about buying the exact ingredients shown in this guide. Plan out some of your favourites, and the ingredients for the bunny face.
- Use a layer of parchment paper to make cleaning up a breeze and to help protect wooden board from stains. Alternatively just use a large rectangular platter.
- Charcuterie boards are best served at room temperature.
- Plan for about 2 ounces of meat and cheese per person, as well as about a cup of fruits, vegetables, and nuts per person.
- If you are serving as a main course you will want about twice as much per person.
- Use a mixture of delicious cheeses including hard cheeses and soft cheeses like mozzarella balls.
- For a gorgeous charcuterie board, it is really important to make it look full so filling in the holes is really important.

About the Ingredients for an Easter Charcuterie Board
Crackers – I used these gluten-free rice crackers for the ears.
Hummus – I used a 10 oz container of hummus and transferred it to a bowl. You could make homemade hummus instead if you like.
Olives – Black olives are tasty, and perfect for making the bunny face.
Cherry tomatoes – Great option for the nose, as well as filling out the rest of the board.
Asparagus – I used asparagus for the whiskers. It can be expensive though so you may want to choose a cheaper option. Thin strips of sweet bell pepper would work well too.
Other veggies – Cauliflower, broccoli, celery, carrots, and red peppers are all typical options. You can include more veggies too.
Cheese – I kept it simple with cheddar cheese. Any other cheese you fancy would work well here too although I would keep it mild flavoured.
Meat – I didn’t include any meat on my board but this is a charcuterie board, so of course you can add a selection of deli meat.
