I absolutely adore lemon everything. I will eat lemons sliced up like an orange, I like them in savoury dishes like this Turmeric Lemon Chicken recipe and of course lemon desserts are a must have. Lemon lush anyone?

    1. I personally don’t use sugar in anything I make anymore. My family uses stevia which is a better choice especially if you’re not wanting sugar or Splenda (which is also not good for you).

  2. Having trouble finding anything but lemonade- when you say ‘Fresh squaeezed lemon juice,’ do you mean to squeeze actual lemons? I cannot find any cartons of lemon juice- only ade.

  3. One day I was craving this & I made a copy cat version using only softened vanilla ice cream & some Crystal Lite Lemonade powder. It was so easy & I think tasted just like the original.

  4. YUM! Love that I can freeze it and run it through my blender for later. That’s a great tip! Is it ok I added this to Foodie Friday Roundup: Delicious Lemonades? I scheduled it to go live tomorrow morning.

  5. Very sour. I added lots more sugar! It was not thick and frozen either. Next time I will use crushed ice instead of water. Too much for my blender also. I had a big mess. I froze what was left. Not worth the trouble.

  6. Tried this…very sour and was not thick at all… I added lots more sugar. Next time I will use ice instead of water. Too much for my blender.. Had a big mess.

  7. Just made this but I used simply lemonade (also made with the raspberry version) both came out yummy but a little thin. Any idea on how to thicken it? Maybe add more ice cream?

  8. I made this one time after the 1st time I tried their frozen lemonade. I used the canned frozen lemonade mix and vanilla bean ice-cream and added ice as needed. It was delicious and tasted just like their version. This probably would as well and probably isn’t as much sugar. I am going to try this and maybe with lavender lemonade, which is my favorite lemonade.
