Nothing says summer quite like a refreshing Limeade Margarita. This cocktail is a zesty twist on the classic margarita, blending the tartness of limeade with the smooth warmth of tequila.
It’s the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and salty, with a hint of citrusy brightness that makes each sip feel like a mini-vacation. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue or just unwinding after a long day, a Limeade Margarita is sure to lift your spirits and keep you cool.
Cheers to enjoying the simple pleasures of summer in a glass!
Tips for Making the BEST Cocktails
- Chill your glasses ahead of time to help ensure the cocktail remains cool to the very last sip.
- Choose premium liquors for the best results. You don’t need to reach for the top shelf but at least avoid scraping the bottom of the barrel.
- To make sure your cocktail is properly chilled, consider using larger ice cubes. They melt slower and won’t water down your drink as quickly.
- We used a salt rim, but feel free to rim your glass as desired.
- Enjoy your cocktail and don’t forget to drink responsibly. Cheers!
Ingredients for Limeade Margarita
Tequila – I used Jose Cuervo “Gold” tequila but any blanco or resposado tequilas will work well.
Triple Sec – Any orange liqueur will do in it’s place.
Limeade – Use your favourite limeade or frozen limeade concentrate for a frozen margarita.
Sweet & Sour Mix – You can also make this work well with margarita mix.
Lime – Use a fresh lime only.
