Salsa Verde
Salsa Verde is a classic summer accompaniment for tortilla chips – a perfectly fresh appetizer recipe!
Salsa Verde
INGREDIENTS:
5 Tomatillos, husked and rinsed
1 Jalapeno Pepper
1 tsp minced Garlic
2 tbsp chopped fresh Cilantro
1/4 cup minced Onion
Juice of 1/2 Lime
1/2 tsp Salt
DIRECTIONS:
Husk and rinse tomatillos.
Remove stem and seeds from jalapeno.
Place tomatillos, pepper and garlic in blender or food processor and process until pureed but still chunky.
Add onions, cilantro, lime juice and salt.
Mix well.
