Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Quick & Easy: Only 10 minutes from start to finish.
- Silky Texture: Thanks to white Cheddar cheese and cream cheese, it’s perfectly smooth.
- Customizable: Adjust the spice level or add toppings to make it your own.

Tips & Variations
- Cheese Substitutes: If white American cheese isn’t available, deli-sliced white American cheese works just as well. For a milder flavour, swap pepper jack cheese for Monterey Jack.
- Alternative Mix-Ins: Instead of diced tomatoes, try canned diced jalapeños for extra heat or diced green chilies for a milder flavour.
- Add Protein: Mix in cooked ground beef, turkey, or chorizo for a heartier dip.
- Microwave Option: Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and melted.
Storing & Reheating
Storing: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Note that the dip will thicken as it cools.
Reheating: Reheat in the microwave with ½ tablespoon of milk or water, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Ingredients and Substitutions
- White Cheddar Cheese: Melts smoothly for a creamy texture; substitute Havarti, or Monterey Jack.
- Pepper Jack Cheese: Adds a spicy, buttery flavor; replace with Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, or extra white Cheddar cheese.
- Cream Cheese: Provides velvety consistency; swap with Greek yogurt, sour cream, or dairy-free cream cheese for a lighter option.
- Whole Milk: Thins the dip to the right consistency; use heavy cream, dairy-free milk, or water as alternatives.
- Diced Tomatoes or Green Chilies: Brings freshness and acidity; substitute with Rotel, canned jalapeños, or fresh tomatoes.
- Garlic Powder: Enhances depth of flavor; replace with fresh minced garlic or onion powder.
- Chili Powder: Adds mild smoky heat; use paprika or chipotle powder for a variation.
- Ground Cumin: Offers an earthy warmth; substitute with coriander or omit entirely if preferred.
