These Easy Fried Banana Bites are a fun dessert for any time of year. They remind me a bit of my last trip to Cuba where I’d end every meal with crepes and fried bananas. It’s a little bit of tropical flavour right at home!
Easy Fried Banana Bites
INGREDIENTS:
3 Bananas
1 cup Pancake Mix
1 cup MIlk
1 Egg
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
Vegetable Oil (for frying)
DIRECTIONS:
Slice bananas into 1/2″ slices.
Combine pancake mix, milk and egg. Beat until blended.
Line a plate with paper towels. Set aside.
FIll a pan with oil 1/2″ deep and heat to 350-375.
Dip each banana slice in batter and allow excess to drip off.
Place in oil and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Remove to prepared plate.
DUst finished bites with powdered sugar.
Serve with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce or ice cream.

I tried this i am not an cook but I am still learning 50 years old an starting learning and enjoy cooking. I didn't have powder sugar so I didn't use it but I sprinkled sugar on it , it was pretty good I am trying make snacks and dinner for later to help roommate ( adopted sister) out so she don't have cook

I don't like using eggs so, I swap for 1/3 apple sauce, mayo, and my favorite, sour cream I like the way that it works with this recipe
